What a beautiful weekend of story telling and wānanga pūrākau it was at Rāpaki Marae last weekend, the location, people and kai were all equal in beauty. Both Waitohi and Hapahapai were well behaved and well fed and enjoyed the wairua of Tā Tipene O’Regan. We were lucky enough to deliver a few wild pigs to the marae as a koha, at late notice they looked after us due to an unfortunate tangi at Takahanga marae – ki a koutou o Ngāti Wheke, āku mihi!
